Question : I have been diagnosed with gastroparesis and the only sympthom I have is constant belching. I have been on various meds and nothing seems to help
Brief Answer:
change in diet. erythromycin
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Gastroparesis can be difficult to manage.
I would suggest the following
Take small frequent meals
These meals should be low in fat and fibre
Try to include more semisolid meals
I would suggest to continue domperidone.
Levosulpuride is a drug which can help but is not available in all countries.
Erythromycin might help to increase the gastric motility. Consult your doctor regarding a prescription
If symptoms become more severe botulinum toxin injection and gastric electric stimulation are the other options available( in case symptoms become severe)
Hope this helps
