Question : Hi, I am 30 year old male. and I have a problem near my.
pubic area. Everytime I shave hair there is a bump appear after few days filled with pus. I was taking this as normal. but now it's annoying me so I start taking medicine like following creams: Elica-M (mometasone furoate 0.1% w/w Miconazole nitrate 2% w/w) and Fusiderm (fusidic Acid & beta methasone).
soon after apply the bump opens up and all pus comes out now there is a hole in that bump. plus I also noticed that the skin of my testicles the is very dry and reddish. there was inflammation before but not now. however I can see some differences in skin color.
I am still using the same cream and trying to keep the place clean and dry. I am cleaning the place with water three times a day. now it has been more then 5 days.
please let me know if it's normal and am I doing it right?

                                    Brief Answer:
Ulceration
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
You have developed ulceration.
The creams you are using contain steroid and can aggravate the situation.
You require treatment with oral and topical antibiotics.
I treat such cases with a combination of oral tablet cefixime 200 mg twice daily for a week and ointment mupirocine to be applied twice daily for a week.
This combination will help you.
In future try to trim the hair using a trimmer instead of shaving.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
