Question : Recently I was diagnosed for HPV by genital warts. On top of my diagnoses, I had to be tested for Herpes as well. My nerves began to triple because of how anxious I was over it. A couple days passed by and my doctor said everything was normal. Now this test was about month and a half ago, I haven't had sex since the test, also I haven't had unprotected sex in 2+ months and it was with someone I trusted for 3+ years. Currently, I am dealing with a little bit of "scaring" on the ring of the tip of my penis. Obviously since my testing, I'm a little bro aware and cautious about what goes on down there. This irritation doesn't hurt nor does it irritate me. I masturbate very frequently (sometimes 3 times a day) and most times I'll use a blanket to help. The only times it can irritate me is right after masturbating. I'm curious to know if this irritation is from the excessive masturbation, or is it something worse?

Brief Answer:
Anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for the query.

You seem to be too anxious than you ought to be.
You say that this irritation does not hurt nor does it irritate me, but you are more worried again even if it does not hurt you.
First of all let me assure you that masturbation would not cause herpes or HPV genital warts. Masturbation does not hurt penis. If the masturbation is done excessively then you may have skin on the penile head injured and irritated. Masturbation is not at all harmful but you seem to be using blanket which is not soft towards the penis skin. It may have allergic to the skin.
You should use local vaseline gel to make it soft and not irritating.
Since your doctor confirmed that everything is normal and you do not have organism on you, you should lay off your worry and start concentrating on routine.
You can continue to masturbate but restrict it once a day or once alternate days. This would be easy on the skin.

Let me know other pressing questions.
