Brief Answer:
chemical cautry advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, these are basically genital warts which have grown more than usual because of negligence over a long time.
This lesion will need chemical cautry and will instantly respond to it.
Do not pick it or try to remove it otherwise it will spread even more.
So visit a good dermatologist and get the cautry done
All the best.

Is it an STD ? ... how did I get this ,.. what are they .. why ate they called warts .. I thought that was a sexually transmitte diseas? .. I just want to know a little bit about them are they from moisture or friction or STDs or how do you get them? and why do I go to a dermatologist instead of a gynecologist?

Brief Answer:
sexually transmitted disease.

Detailed Answer:
Wart is basically a skin infection by a virus causing these typical lesions and are contagious which can range from a sexually transmitted disease to a simple infection caught by hand contact with an infected person.
They are slow growing but if left uncared then can spread to the adjacent areas.
Dermatologists are better equipped usually for chemical or electrocauterization of warts as they see such cases more often because warts are very common on hands and face too.
Hygiene is the most important thing to avoid these lesions in future.
Moisture definitely plays a role in increasing susceptibility to warts and friction causes spread in already infected areas.
So get it treated as soon as possible.
All the best.

Brief Answer:
get these removed

Detailed Answer:
Yes he can carry them without sign and symptoms but incubation period is usually not more than 3 months (rarely 6 months) but then it is not mandatory to acquire it by sexual way and rather can be environmental in origin.
Nothing to be anxious about and all you need is cauterization and keep a good hygiene.
Also I will recommend you to have an yearly pap smear testing because HPV infection puts you in high risk group for cervical cancer.
Take care
