Brief Answer:
She needs anti inflammatory drugs

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your mother's case in detail and I think she is not taking anti inflammatory drug and this is the reason that she is having so much pain. Fabuxostat is a medicine to keep uric acid level in normal limit, and it has no effect in pain.
I would suggest you following.
1. Tablet Piroxicam or Etoricoxib. (Discuss with your doctor)
2. Avoid read meat and drinking, sudden intake of high protien
3. If pain is not controlled then colchicine can be used, as it is Drug of choice in acute GOUT.
I hope this answer will be helpful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup query.
Thanks
