Question : I found a growth under my tonsils and it didn't have any pain but it seems to be growing or maybe I didn't notice it there before. Today after 3 days I started to have lots of dots and bumps appear with redness in the back of my throat. I'm worried about it and I don't know what it is!

I have read your query , seen your pictures & understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history & seeing your pictures , it appears to me you are having tonsillitis with pharyngitis .

In my opinion , it is a part of your tonsil . Tonsil have crept in it , when crept become deep it appears as a separate growth .

If I am your treating doctor , I would advice ,
Regular antiseptic mouth wash like betadin twice daily ,
Tab paracetamol for inflammation thrice daily .

You will get relief . No need to worry much.

Okay Thank you doctor, I was just worried because my mother had lung cancer and passed away so I was scared it could be a tumor maybe. How long will it take for it to go away?
