Brief Answer:
Gynecomastia

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I treat patients with gynecomastia on a regular basis. Sorry to mention, there are absolutely no natural ways to treat gynecomastia. All patients with gynecomastia require surgery. If the fatty content is large then a liposuction followed by subcutaneous mastectomy is required and if the fibrous content is large then only a subcutaneous mastectomy is required. Whatever might be the procedure, because of the presence of breast tissue, surgery is ALWAYS indicated. Weight loss or massaging or pills would not be able to cure the breast tissue that is present within.

Thank you very much for the trustful reply. With very high dependency on your input would request you to also guide me with following information as well. As I am staying alone for my job requirement at XXXXXXX these information are very imperative.

What would be duration for such surgery.?
How fast I can join back to work?
Would you suggest/recommend any of nursing home/doctor for this surgery at Ahmedabad?
What would be approximate cost involved in this ?
Does it cover under mediclaim ?
Will there be heavy and big cut required for this surgery ?
Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

1. Usually when I perform this it takes 2 hours or so. I perform this exclusively under local anesthesia so that you can walk home after surgery.
2. Next day itself or you can take rest for 2-3 days.
3. I do not know anyone in XXXXXXX for that matter.
4. In my practice it costs Rs. 24000 for only surgery and Rs. 27000 if liposuction is required also.
5. No coverage under mediclaim.
6. Small cuts are required only.
