Question : Hi ,

I am having a lot of hair fall in past 1 year and scalp is visible now from crown area.
I never used any medicine and wanted to start cautiously with any external gel or so...

Can u suggest any safe option ..without any side effect.
I am 28 year old and i am regular smoker.I know one best answer would be to quit smoking and i am trying that ...also i started to take protein supplement (proteinx) to balance any diet gap in day to day life

Thanks for the query.
You might have developed androgenic alopecia.
It is common in males and needs treatment with anti androgens.
You can apply minoxidil lotion twice daily and take androanagen tablet daily.
I usually prescribe these and have seen good response with it.
These are easily available over the counter.
