Brief Answer:
Hair loss suggestion
Detailed Answer:
HI...It could be familial or other medical condition.
Kindly answer my questions -
1. Is somebody in the family having this early hair loss?
2. Does his father have it?
3. Do his uncles' have it?
4. Can you upload an image of the same here?
Skin conditions are best diagnosed only after seeing directly. I suggest you to upload photographs of the same on this website, so that I can guide you scientifically.

Brief Answer:
Alopecia areata
Detailed Answer:
Hi...Thi seems to be Alopecia areata.
The treatment options include - Corticosteroids, Minoxidil, Anthralin, Diphencyprone (DPCP). Patients often get more than 1 treatment at a time. A mix of 2 or more treatments often boosts success.
Ask your dermatologist about possible side effects (health problems that can result from the medicines).
When a person has alopecia areata, the hair will start to re-grow when the body gets the right signals. Sometimes this happens without treatment. Even with treatment, new hair loss can occur. Everything depends on how the immune system reacts.
