Brief Answer:
Upload photos, go for blood tests, take balanced diet, regular exercise

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your complaints.
There are many causes of hair loss and treatment depends on the cause.
The most common causes encountered by me are male pattern baldness, thyroid disorders, anemia, certain drugs, fevers like typhoid and malaria, surgery, chronic diseases including that of the scalp and stress.
I recommend you to undergo haemoglobin, serum ferritin levels and TSH test to rule out the anemia and thyroid disease.
I would also recommend you to upload the photographs of your scalp so that I can get to know the pattern of your hair loss and can guide you accordingly.
Kindly also mention the medicines you have already taken for your hair fall problem.
As far as greying of hair is concerned I suggest my patients to take tablet calcium pantothenate 100 mg twice daily along with melitane 1 percent gel on the affected grey areas of the scalp twice daily. This is usually continued for atleast 6 months to see any response. They will prevent further greying of hair but will cause a partial improvement in hair which have already turned grey.
To prevent hair loss take a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables and go for regular exercise but first I need to find out the cause of your hair loss so that I can guide you accordingly.

Brief Answer:
You are having male pattern baldness

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs as well seen the prescription given to you.

I can appreciate decreased density of hair on the vertex area of the scalp.
Are you having recession of the hairline in the front? Does any male member of your family having similar pattern of hair loss?

You are having male pattern baldness which has hormonal basis in genetically predisposed individuals.
I recommend my patients to apply minoxidil 5 percent solution in the dose of 1 ml twice daily on the affected areas of the scalp along with tablet finasteride 1mg once daily.
These medicines are continued for 4-5 months to see any significant response and for atleast 1 year to notice maximum improvement.

As far as your prescription is concerned you have been given medicines for premature greying of hair. These need to be continued for atleast 6 months to see the response. You can continue altris gel and curlzvit tablets for 6 months.

I hope to have answered your queries and would be happy to clarify any further doubts.

Regards
Dr Asmeet

Brief Answer:
No direct cause for fast greying of hair

Detailed Answer:
Greying of hair is basically due to reduced activity of the pigment producing cells with growing age. There is no direct reason as to why their activity reduces.

But it has been seen that in some individuals stress increases the rate at which hair turn grey.
