Thanks for your query.

The abnormal taste sensation can be seen in viral fevers or growth of non commensal bacteria in mouth.

If you do not have any associated symptoms like fever, joint pains or muscle pains, then the chances of it being viral are meager.

I suggest you to wash your mouth with a antiseptic solution like Chlorhexidine twice daily after food.This will clear any abnormal bacterial growth in the mouth.
