Question : ingrown hair or staph? It was a huge lump its hard to see in the pic i popped it didnt have a white head on it but puss came out just no hair. Have it for week

Seems like a bacterial infection. I suggest an Oral antibiotic for a week.

What kind of oral antibiotic? If i cannot see a dr can i put clyndamicin topical on it instead

Oral Antibiotic would be more effective

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

You may take either Amoxicillin 500mg three times a day for a week Or Cephalexin 500 mg three times a day for a week. Oral antibiotics would be more effective.
You may also take a tablet of oral antiinflammatory e.g tablet ibuprofen twice daily if you also have pain and swelling.
Topically you may use Neosporin ointment twice daily.
