Brief Answer:
Hematoma?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You need an examination of the remaining lump after 4 weeks.
So you can wait for 4 weeks after injury, one week from now before you go back to see the surgeon and get the lump examined.
Sometimes the blood clots and they would not be absorbed easily.
Sometimes other structures will be injured and get fibrosed to form such lumps.
So wait for one more week and go back to see the doctor if the size does not reduce lesser than the grape.
