Question : I've developed hard lumps in the palms of both hands that seem to be connected to the tendons leading to my fingers. In addition, I get quite a bit of pain and stiffness in both hands that usually lasts a couple of days, then can go away for a few days before returning. I do work on a computer doing design work and typing 40 hours each week.

                                    Brief Answer:
Possibly Dupuytren’s disease, therapy depends on stage
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
you may be suffering from Dupuytren’s disease, a fixed flexion contracture of the hand due to a palmar fibromatosis. Depending on the stage, this may be early treated with radiation, in later stages there is different surgical options and other therapys like laser or collagenase injections.
