Brief Answer:
Supportive treatment and physiotherapy may help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted the details of your brother Mr XXXXXXX Kumar. It is unfortunate that he suffered from a severe road accident, resulting in serious injuries to important parts of brain.

I agree it is difficult to survive this. Moreover, even if he survives, he is likely to have severe disabilities in doing activities of daily living.

As of now, supportive treatment should be continued. This includes feeding from tube, maintenance of fluid and electrolyte balance, oxygen supply, maintaining BP, preventing and treating infections of urine, lungs, bed sores, etc.

In addition, physiotherapy and exercises should also be continued.

I agree these treatments can also be done in a smaller hospital to minimize the cost of treatment.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
