Question : headache right side above ear hasnt been to Dr fever been going up and down 100-102 taking over the counter med 11 yr old boy This has been going on for a 3 days

I read your question and i understand your concern. Headache above the ear is likely middle ear infection involving mastoid area. Fever also vouch for that. It may or may not have a history of recent sore throat too.

All it needs is some antibiotics like amoxicillin and pain medications like ibuprofen etc. Get your kid to an otorhinolaryngologist or a paediatrician and let them take care of your kid.
