Videolaryngoscopy. Cancer and voice problems are very rare.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. A videolaryngoscopy is a simple, quick and efficient procedure that can rule out cancer and voice problems.
2. Theses symptoms can be drug induced (dry mouth, dry cough, night sweats, feeling ill and headache). Hence consult your physician again to review your current medication.
3. Broncholdilators can worsen cough. If the chest is rattling, request a chest auscultation and start a anti-allergic, mucolytic, steam inhalation and a dry cough suppressant.
4. A blood test to rule out eosinophilia, review of any other medication (such as anti-hypertensives), a chest X-ray and Lunfg (Pulmonary) Function tests can be done if the above medication is not working.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
