Brief Answer:
Infant should be taken to specialist now.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your query; and suggests you that infant should be taken to specialist.

For your kind information two types of infant hearing tests are used---
1. BERA- Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry.
2. OAE- Otoacoustic Emissions.

Some doctors use both tests, while others screen first with OAE and follow up with BERA if the infant does not test well.
Note: Consult an experienced Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist online for further follow up on ear, nose, and throat issues - Book a Call now.
