Question: When i am drinkig water why would i get chest oaid everytine i swallow on keft side is this heart burn bexause ive been having heartburn

Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Surely yes, swallowing of water or anything else causing pain in chest would be due to esophagitis which in turn may be due to GERD or Hiatus Hernia.
Have you undergone any tests like Upper GI Endoscopy or Barium swallow or any other tests.
Please give detailed history and post any reports if you have done.
