Question : 25 white female 2 live births via c section, 3 miscarriages before 10 weeks prior to last child in 2014, and 2 abortions prior to 2009
My second child was delivered while my uterus was in the latent stage of rupturing in 2014. I have had heavy periods since I was 9 and all pap smear have came back normal. I began having large what I assume clots at age 16 after my first abortion. They began to be bigger than a quarter after my second son. Since his birth my husband has had a vasectomy. 1 year ago at my annual pap smear I had them check my hormone levels because of chronic fatigue, mood swings, weight fluctuations and severe acne. The labs came back within normal limits I started my period the day after they drew my blood. I have passed white spongy masses for the passed year sometimes bigger than a quarter and I have passed dark colored masses ranging from 1 to 3 inches within the year. All while having a heavy period that last up to 10 days. Recently I have been exhausted even while taking my medication Adderal xr 30 mg and flexeril from my chronic back pain. I know something is going on with my hormones because I woke up with a grey eye brown hair over an inch long that was not their last night. Please remember I'm only 25, and desperate for answers. I just went to the restroom and had a mass 2 inches long with a width of a half inch dark redish blue in color soft texture but firm and when I washed it off it almost had a see through appearance. What is going on with me? What am I passing?

Brief Answer:
Can be hyperplastic endometrium.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The masses that you are passing are likely to be pieces of endometrium. A hyperplastic endometrium is often associated with heavy periods.
You can preserve one of such pieces and send it for histopathological examination to be sure. Do start with hormonal tablets to control the excessive bleeding or consider going for endometrial ablation since your family is complete now.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

I forgot to mention one thing, most likely because I hate to think about it. I was told when I was pregnant with my first son I have HPV I presented with a wart that resolved on its on each pregnancy. I was told there wasn't a way to k ow which strand of HPV I have unless it comes upon my pap smear which it hasn't. Would this change the answer you provided me with? Would the condition you stated cause chronic fatigue?
Brief Answer:
HPV infection does not affect it.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Having an HPV infection does not change anything. The excessive bleeding can cause anemia and a chronic fatigue. Do start taking iron supplements regularly to combat the fatigue.
Hope my answer is helpful.
