Question : I had my period for 2 months. What can i do to stop the bleeding ?
Brief Answer:
menorrhagia
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
If Pregnancy has been ruled out already with serum beta hcg test , then you may opt for antifibrinolytics like TAB TRANEXAMIC ACID 500mg thrice a day for next 3 days to allow control of bleeding.
If the bleeding still continues then you may have to undergo a D&C procedure for acute control of bleeding after a ultrasound pelvis study.
Please consult with your PCP and get the medication prescribed.
Regards
