Question : Hello, I was just at my daughter's house without shoes on and sitting on a chair with structure towards the bottom. I don't think I scrapped the bottom of my right foot that hard but I felt some pain and noticed that there was a small dark circle at the bottom middle of my right foot underneath the skin about the size of a quarter and it felt like it was trying to push out through the bottom of my foot. I am home now, it is still sore but does not feel like it is trying to push out anymore. Did I break a blood vessel and what should I do about it. I am supposed to play racquetball tomorrow morning and then play two 9 hole rounds of golf.

The description you have given sounds like a hematoma. Hematoma is collection of blood just under the skin. Most often it is painless and resolves on its own. If you could attach a photo of the lesion then I would be in a better position to answer your question.

I don't think playing gold should be a problem however I suggest you to avoid playing racquetball if it is sore tomorrow or increased in size
