Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

Hemorrhoids are inflammed blood vessels in the lower rectum and may protrude/ prolapse out of the anus.

If there is pain and bleeding associated with the Hemorrhoids then treatment should be initiated. In asymptomatic Hemorrhoids usually no intervention is done other than follow up and observation.

First line treatment is adequate fiber and liquid intake. Straining and prolonged toilet sitting should also be avoided.

Banding and sclerotherapy are utilised if the above don't help resolve the symptoms. Infrared coagulation is another option. These are office procedures with little or no postoperative stay at the hospital.

In refractory 3rd or 4th degree Hemorrhoids, hemorrhoidectomy is resorted to when the above fail. Please consult a general surgeon in this regard.

wishing you best of health
