Question : I've had hemorrhoids for the last week. I am on my feet at work all the time. The hems have become very painful and I have been using Prep H and soaking in a warm tub. Those have not helped my condition. Last nite I got out of bed and felt something pop. There was quite a bit of blood. I got into the tub and soaked, put on the Prep H again, and went back to bed. This morning I was getting out of bed and felt another pop and there was blood again. It has been very painful. Should I go to the hospital? Thanks, XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Yes I think you need a doctor consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

It appears that the hemorrhoids are getting ruptured repeatedly and causing bleeding.

So probably you need some change of therapy. First you need to get yourself examined by a surgeon. If necessary, other local preparations like steroid containing creams may be prescribed, as well as evaluation for a possible surgery.

This can surely be treated.

Hope this helps.
Regards
