Question : I have a hernia that is bothering me. should i have surgery to fix it?

Hernia in any region,whether it is Inguinal or Umbilical or Incisional should be operated.
There is no medical treatment for hernia.
contents on the abdomen like Intestine or Omental fat will be coming through a sac and will be seen outside as a bulge.Initially,they go inside after lying or after pressure.In course of time,complications like Irreducibilty,Obstruction,Gangrene of the bowel may occur due to strangulation.
