Protein and nutrient deficiency is the likely cause
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I am sorry to hear about your situation. Your gastric bypass surgery has probably leaded to improper and inadequate absorption of proteins which could be related to your hair fall as well as fingernail bending.
It could also be that you still have some cancerous cells left from the ovarian cancer and they might be eating away the nutrients leaving not much for the rest of the body.
The hiatal hernia is due to muscle weakness over the area and could have been caused due to the same cause of protein and nutrient deficiency.
The gastric bypass has also lead to improper clearance of food and gastric acids from the stomach. As a result, gastric ulcer has occurred. Bleeding of the gastric ulcer is likely to be the cause of the blood in the stool.
Please visit the doctor who was treating you for ovarian cancer. He could assess the situation and intervene accordingly.
