Question : I just took my blood pressure it is 160/101 I have low usually. I also have anxiety and I took a atavism which usually lowers it should I go to,we or wait until tomorrow to see my pup.. My email is YYYY@YYYY . Thank you my name is XXXX

I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your BP is high and may be related to anxiety. Taking a tablet of Ativan may help to lower and stabilise the BP.

For the moment you shouldn't worry as long as the BP doesn't exceed 200/105 mmHg you should wait to contact your doctor tomorrow.

If you have one of the following symptoms chest pain, dyspnea or your BP exceeds 200/105 mmHg you should go to ER to start antihypertensive treatment to stabilize your BP.
