Brief Answer:
Kidney function to be assessed and low sodium is to be corrected slowly

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Blood pressure of 150 systolic is acceptable in a 76 year old lady like your mother.

2. The increased serum creatinine is a concern. It shows mild kidney dysfunction and complete kidney testing has to be done to know the cause of high creatinine. It is important to know if she is having diabetes because fasting blood sugar is 116. A nephrology opinion might be required with assessment of kidney functions in detail.

3. The sodium level is also low and measures 133. Normal is 137 to 145. This has to be corrected slowly and her doctor would have noted this.

4. Please continue with erythropoietin injection and other medicines to increase hemoglobin. Hemoglobin 9.5 is slightly below normal. It can be corrected with medicines.

5. Please write back with details on why she was admitted to hospital in Giridih and what her doctor is presently treating her with.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
