                                            Adjustment of medications again needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.
I have gone through your query. Are you taking Amlovas Ol alone now? If yes, and your BP is 140/99, again an adjustment of medications is needed. In such cases, if you were my patient I would recommend adding Nebistar also along with amlovas Ol. As you were on betablocker Nebistar before there will be rebound hypertension due to stopping this and possible arrhythmias also.
Amlovas Ol has amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and olmesartan which is a higher generation drug than telmesartan which is a content of telesartan h. Another content of telesartan h is hydrochlorthiazide which is a diuretic. It is better avoided if you don't have any edema or cardiac dysfunction.
For gastritis, therapy with proton pump inhibitor like rabeperazole will be helpful. Life style modification also should be taken. Take small meals at short intervals. Avoid irritating foods like fatty and fried foods, pickles etc. Also have your dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
