Brief Answer:
Home care & expert advise if needful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the query under health care magic.I have read it & understand your concern.
- Your symptoms suggest allergic sinusitis( sinus congestion ) with secondary infection by bacteria indicated by productive cough. The chest pain you have seems to be altered blood cell counts due to allergy( eosinophillia)... which in turn causes cough, which is dry to start with & becomes productive with secondary infection/ pain in flanks & chest while coughing can follow the physical stress involved in coughing.
*It's only 2 days you have the symptoms.. you can try with home care to start with -( by hot saline gargles/ nasal vapor inhalation/ avoiding known allergens, cold /taking over the counter anti cold medicine like Synarest twice a day after food along with cough syrup 2 spoons twice a day with warm water,
You should take rest, light nutritive diet, drink plenty of warm water, avoid stress .
* In case there is no relief seen in 2 days OR if you start getting fever / sputum turns yellow, green... You need to add antibiotic.
Please consult your family physician for physical examination/ blood counts for raised eosinoplils & also confirm infection. He would advise suitable antibiotic with other medicines to help you get rid of your problem.
* With the history hypertension & afib... I would adviseNot to be satisfied with natural reversal of the problem & to get a complete heart check up along with necessary investigations by a heart specialist to exclude any cardiac problem.
I hope that helps you , any more information you want, please feel free to ask a follow up query.
Thanks.
