Suggest Treatment For High BP, Chest Tightness And Shortness Of Breath
Question: I am a male, 58. I have had high blood pressure since my 20's. I am over weight but my BP has always been controlled with one medication. About 8 weeks ago my BP went out of control, I had chest tightness, shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, sharp pain in my back and down my left arm. I had a Echo Cardiogram, stress test, and ultimately a Heart XXXXXXX All was fine. I still have all the symptoms and I am on 3 blood pressure medications to get my BP to normal. What else should I be looking for?

3. My bad cholesterol is high and my good is low. On meds for it and was controlled until recently.

And age more than 50 is always an risk factor for bronchitis.
And in both these conditions shortness of breath and chest tightness are seen.
PFT ( Pulmonary Function Test ) will be helpful to diagnose both.
So I advice you to get done PFT first.
And loose weight.
