Brief Answer:
I need further details.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
It is not like that if you take the Blood Pressure (BP) medicine it should come down immediately.
In fact more important is that the effect should persist like that BP is controlled the whole day (24hours).
Definitely your BP medication is not giving you a 24 hour constant control.
Provide me following details:
1. Since how long are you hypertensive?
2. Since how long are you taking the medications?
3. Since how long are you taking this particular medication?
4. How are your Kidney function tests, ECG if done?
5. Any history of diabetes?
6. Are you overweight?
Revert with these details for a better help.
Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
I would suggest you modification of the medicines.
Understanding your scenario I would advise you a combination of Temisartan 80 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg once a day.
I am hope full that this would give you a better control of BP.
Discuss with your doctor about my opinion.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
