Brief Answer:
Several choices

Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

There are several CLASSES of drugs and there are several DRUGS in each class – the list is rather long! – Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) / Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACEI) Inhibitor / Direct Renin Inhibitor / Diuretic / Beta- Blocker / Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB)
The choice depends on several factors, typically like associated morbidity / beta blockers is the choice for pressure with effort angina and/or arrhythmia, but is contraindicated in asthma… CCB for pressure with Prinzmetal angina… and so on.
In most people, the safe choice and the first choice is ARB – like olmesartan, valsartan etc etc… / or ACE like Lisinopril, enalapril etc
Most people need a second drug to beaded – usually a diuretic like thiazide
Some need a third one – usually CCB like amlodipine
The treating doctor could conclude better based on total clinical picture…

Good luck
God bless you
