Brief Answer:
you need to get clinically examined and investigated thoroughly ..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome to HCM,

I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

Now 154/95 mmhg reading is certainly on the higher side, but to determine whether it's primarily due to hypertensive response or due to any other stress induced factors is extremely important..

So please let me know if there's family history of hypertension/cardiac ailment ?

Is this the first time you've taken the Blood pressure measurements ?

Was the reading taken just once or multiple times ?

Was it taken during resting phase ?

Please note that an isolated reading of Blood pressure reading actually doesn't qualify as clinically significant , thus the individual must get himself checked up by a Physician clinically and get the measurements in serial interval at resting phase followed by few relevant investigations as per the findings(eg. a 12 lead ECG, Lipid profile, CBC, Electrolytes, Renal function test etc.)..

Please let me know all those details so that I can guide you more specifically..

Take Care
Kind Regards

Brief Answer:
time to get yourself clinically examined and investigated thoroughly ..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX Welcome Back,
Thanks for clarifying,

Your lifestyle is certainly having an impact on your health over long term, all these stress, tension, sedentary urban lifestyle reflects over body metabolism..

Along with this there's a positive family history of hypertension also..

Please try to ensure a healthy lifestyle (eat healthy home cooked meal, avoid too many processed/salty/junk/deep fried foods, avoid smoking and alcohol, try to maintain a healthy 8 hr of sleep, a few minute of daily work-outs either indoor or out door as per your convenience etc.)

So since blood pressure level is remaining on the higher range only, it's necessary now to get yourself checked up by a Cardiologist / Internal Medicine Specialist clinically and get the measurements in serial interval under supervision followed by few relevant investigations as per the findings (eg. a 12 lead ECG, Lipid profile, CBC, Electrolytes, Renal function test, Chest X-ray etc.)..it's only after these, further decision should be taken whether to initiate anti-hypertensive medications or further observation..

Meanwhile try start following those lifestyle changes as much as possible, and let me know how you stay in the due course..don't worry, it's easily controllable situation with these few necessary measures..

Let me know if there's any further queries..

Take Care
Kind Regards
