I guess I answered your question earlier. TSH cut off is higher for kids compared to adults. 6 is considered as normal for a 2 year old kid.However we always have to check Free T4 along with TSH to decide further.

Hi Sir,
Thank you for your reply. i have confused about this matter. because i checked 2 doctor. obe is child speacilist she said he had thyroid and ahe prescribed 6mg tab every day. she said above 5.25 tsh means have thyroid. then i go to ensocrinologist he said baby is normal. he said above 9 tsh means thyroid. why every one give different different values? baby is 2 months old only. now no need to take any medicine rite?
