Suggest Treatment For High Bilirubin Level When Diagnosed With Hepatitis E
Question: Hi, three months ago I was diagnosed with hepatitis E and my bilirubin count was as high as 15. Three
weeks back my bilirubin count dropped down to 1.6 after treatment and diet. When I checked my lft test today the bilirubin was 2.5 ( indirect 0.9 and direct 1.6). Shot and Sgpt are 17 and 31 respectively. S..Albumin in 3.4 and rest in lft is normal. Also, TLC count in haemogram test is 10400/cumm and rest all is normal. I'm very worried. Pls help me out.

Dont worry about your bilirubin level now as it is reduced .
And hep E is a self limiting disease, our body will clear automatically ,so need to worry or take any medications for that.
just repeat an LFT after 3 months and review again .
