Question: I recently had a physical done and was given an ECG because i had a little bit of high blood pressure. The ecg came back with boarderline ecg, left axis deviation and consistent with pulminary disease, rvh or normal variant. is it worth seeing someone is is because i was nervous and it skewed the results? Please let me know as I am really nervous about this. I have uploaded the ecg results along with this. Please take a look and let me know what you think

Brief Answer:
ECG report

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
I have gone through your ECG but lead aVF record is missing -hence axis could not be confirmed. You have RBBB/RVH. You need to undergo chest x-ray PA view & 2-D Echocardiogram as next step of investigation.
RBBB can be of normal variant-particularly complete RBBB.
Combination of LAD(left axis deviation) and RBBB will be in favour of Bi-fascicular heart block.

What does complete rbb mean? Also if you were to guess would say it's probably normal or more of an issue? What would a bifascular mean??

Also I don't see aything about rbb? It says left axis deviation , consistent with pulminary and rvh or normal vairent. I don't understand ...

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

RBBB means right bundle branch block. It can be complete or incomplete. If the QRS duration is more than 0.12 sec it is called complete RBBB which is usually of normal variant or benign or physiological. If the QRS duration is < 0.12 sec, it is called incomplete RBBB which may be due to RVH (Rt ventricular hypertrophy).

LAD(left axis deviation) is due to left anterior hemiblock (LAHB) or left anterior fascicular block. If it is combined with RBBB, it is called bi-fascicular heart block, since both anterior fascicle and right bundle branch are blocked.

Discuss with your doctor and undergo the investigations as advised for further evaluation.
