Scared me!!!!! Couldn't bend fingers, walk, breath and lost sight off and on. My head felt like it was going to explode. I don't think I've ever been so scared. Bp was irregular 171/153 135 pulse. Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome back on HCM!

Your blood pressure values are really high. Are you taking any drugs? Are you taking and steroids or disease modifying therapies for MS?

I would recommend going to the ER for a careful physical exam, and some tests to investigate for possible causes of secondary hypertension:

- resting ECG
- chest X ray study
- complete blood count
- thyroid hormone levels
- PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation
- kidney an liver function tests
- blood electrolytes

The pain in all your body could be partially explained by high blood pressure, but sometimes high blood pressure can be a physiological reaction to the pain too.

A new brain MRI is necessary to exclude possible activation of MS. Body pain is not a typical sign of multiple sclerosis, but the lost of sight, is a typical sign.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
