Question: My blood work came back, I had high cholesterol, liver enzymes high, I'm anemic, and kidney function down. My doctor told me to take an iron tablet, and we would do blood work in 2 weeks, that's all....... Should I be worried??

Brief Answer:
Liver and kidney ultrasound also advisable

Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,

in addition to the iron tablets it is recommendable to check about the liver and kidney parameters with ultrasound to rule out any treatable liver or kidney condition, thats what i would do if you were my patient.

Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
