Question : My daughter has a fever of 100 degrees and a cough. She also says she's very achey.

Hello,

There are no details about how long the problem is ? Which started first? what is the age of your daughter? Do you have some in the family or neighborhood having similar problems?

Over the counter Ibuprofen should take care of fever and achy body. Please give the dose according to her weight or by asking the local pharmacy. If your daughter is over three years of age you can take over the counter cough medication available in the form of syrup. If she is less than 3 yrs then Cetrizine can only help. Honey will soothen her throat and can be a good home based therapy.
