Question: Hi, my son is 2 year old and he was suffering from fever from past one week. We have visited to our pediatric and doctor had prescribed one antibiotic (Oral cefexime) and paracetamol for 3 days. Now my son is fully recovered from fever but his intake has been drastically lowered down. He is not ready to even take milk or solid diet. please suggest.

Brief Answer:
Usually kids take less food while recovering from illness

Detailed Answer:
HI...this is called convalescence period (recovery period from any illness).

Usually kids eat less only when they are recovering from any illness.

If your son is active otherwise in his activities and passing urine well then you need not worry..

I suggest you wait for a week for his appetite to return to normal.
