Question : Dear dr,
My 21 month old boy developed fever all of a sudden. The fever range between 38-39 degree Celsius. There was no other symptom. The fever went down after I gave him some ibuprofen. After 6 hours fever came back again.
There was no flu , cold symptoms and he is otherwise active. Stools n Pee is normal too. What could it be? Teething ? Or ?

Brief Answer:
Fever
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
The most likely diagnosis in children this age is a harmless viral illness. These will typically produce a fever for 2-3 days, then resolve over the next few days. Temperature control, as you are doing, and hydration will make the illness pass a bit faster.
