Question : My daughter is 12 yrs and 50 kgs she has only fever from afternoon and which peaked at 6pm . Paracetamol at 2 pm and meftal at 6 pm. Within 6 hrs she has 102 again. What do I give her and how much

I am sorry to know that your daughter is not doing well. I would suggest you to keep her on Meftal P. It can be given at a minimum interval of 6-8 hours and so you can repeat the dose now. The dose is 5 mg/kg/dose. So, for her 250 mg is right to be given. Its preferable to give half a tablet of Meftal 500 mg. Also give tepid sponging.
