Question: Good morning Dr Rynne. Living in London, UK, my Dr gave me your website to further understand my current health issue. I would like to receive the basic information kit. Currently I walk benefit from walking a lot and seeing a chiropractor when other issues arise. I shall also be taking , reluctantly, some oral meds although I understand and know how well they work. My Dr also recommends I join a group that practice the XXXXXXX technique. My chiropractor suggested swaying hips slight when standing. I do try hard to get up every hr and walk about but during hectic periods lately I not done so. Do you have any other suggestions?

Brief Answer:
Till time take cartilage protecting medication like glucosamine sulphate.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have studied your case.

Hip arthritis can be reduced by daily exercise and medicine.
Till time take cartilage protecting medication like glucosamine sulphate.

For hip arthritis joint flexion, extension and rotation exercises will help.
Lying flat on bed if you flex hip with knee flex you try to touch knee to tummy, keep breathing in this position for 15 seconds.

Physiotherapist will help you better to learn more exercises in proper protocol.
If required intra-articular injection/prolotherapy can be given if no relief with medication.

Diet rich in calcium and protein will help.
At age of 60 osteoporosis can be associated so you may need to take calcium supplement and vit D supplement.

If weight is more then weight reduction will help.
