Question : It started out with hives around the neck and behind the ears. Now I have one on the ear lobe and it wont go away with medication. I have tightness in the chest and a slight cough. Itching about the head and face. Diahrea This has been going on for over a month with no clear sign of going away.
Brief Answer:
things to try
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Here are some things to try to get rid of the hives. Take a non-sedating antihistamine daily, like loratadine. Take a ranitidine 150 mg twice a day. Try to determine if you can find anything that you have been exposed to that you may be reacting to. Consider medications including over the counter medicines. Consider foods, body products, pets, etc. Consider eliminating all dairy and gluten from your diet.
The chest pain is concerning so if that becomes severe go to Emergency right away.
I hope all this is sorted out soon,
