Thank You for the query at HCM

Here are few things you can try to help relieve laryngitis

-Speak softly, but do not whisper.Whispering put stress on your larynx. Give voice rest as much as you can
-Drink plenty of fluids
-warm saline gargling atleast twice daily
-Steam inhalation twice daily
-Add moisture to air by using humidifier
-Do not clear your throat frequently. If you have cough you can use cough suppressants available over the counter like Robitussin, delsym etc
-Use Tylenol (if not allergic ) for pain
-Avoid smoking, if you do so for faster recovery
-Continue Cefdinir as prescribed

Hope I was able to help you
