Question : I'm 21 years old and recently I have been having hot flashes during the day and the I'll wake up at 3 in the morning sweaty from my neck down. I take Prilosec daily and I also take Prozac for my anxeity. Any help?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Hot flashes at the age of 21 with acid reflux and anxiety history needs thorough workup for hyperhidrosis. A complete hormonal workup, thyroid profile, side effect of medications, as prozac is notorious for causing extreme sweating in 50 to 10 % of cases. Anxiety on its own can cause the hot flashes and sweats. Needs thorough work up and complete clinical correlation, and shift of medications of anxiety and depression if no other cause of increased sweating is sorted out.
