Question : Hi over the last several weeks. I have had four or five episodes of flushing, rapid heart rate up to 110, increased blood pressure used home machine a couple of times up to 135/100 and anxiety and disorientation. once left work to go home and found myself going in opposite direction several minutes later. FEMALE 66??????????????? really worried about this cannot get to my primary physician until next week. last episode occurred Wednesday.

Probably hyperthyroidism.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

In my opinion, conditions such hyperthyroidism ( high thyroid gland function ), adrenal glands dysfunction should be considered and evaluated further.

If these episodes of high blood pressure and increased heart rate occur again, you should be evaluated and treated at your local emergency room ( ER ).

If no such episodes until you meet your physician, then you should discuss with him about getting evaluated further with blood tests about above mentioned conditions.
