Suggest Treatment For Hypertension, Dizziness And Panic Attacks

Question: Hi i suffer from panic attacks and i woke up this morning feeling dizzy. I have had a nasty cold and been worrying erlier about taking 500mg amoxocillin after having a tooth extraction yesterday. I felt dizzy again and checked my bp and it was 165/90 ... and its now 30 mins later abd its 168/90 should i be concerned? Or is this just me worrying?

I read your query and understood your concerns.

First of all you should stay calm and relaxed because this will help you to deal with hypertension and dizziness.

Dizziness isn't related to BP issues but most likely is related to common cold complications (especially inner ear complications).

The hypertension may be related to increased cardiac output from cold.

If you were my patient I would recommend to use:
- Tylenol and advil for lowering fever and other symptoms
- Betahistin for dizzines
- Captopril tablets to stabilise BP

If the symptoms will persist you should go to ER for a prescription.
