Brief Answer:
Meet a proper dermatologist or take IInd opinion from another dermatologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Welcome back and thanks a lot for your follow up. A picture would be of more help in diagnosing the exact extent and grade of hypo-pigmentation and accordingly the best suggestions for the same.
I can get form your query that the hypo-pigmentation resulted by the use of combination cream which contained Retinaldehyde(0.1%),Glycolic acid (6%). On higher application of the cream it results in hypo-pigmentation of the area as happened in your case.
This kind of hypo-pigmentation can remain for few week to multiple of months depending on the grade and extent.
There are two approaches in the management of such kind of cases: the one is to make the hypo-pigmentation area darkened so that it matches with the normal skin.
The other is to make the rest of the skin lightened so that the contrast in skin could be less perceptible. In my patients I use either of the approaches depending on the situation.
I suggest you to meet a proper dermatologist or take a second opinion from another dermatologist to get better at the earliest. Momate is a steroid based cream so is to be applied with caution and never beyond a period of 2 weeks without proper evaluation.
My all best wishes for your healthy skin.
